Perform CPR HLTCPR201A (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Duration: 3-4 hours

This course is designed to teach knowledge & skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and has particular relevance to industry professionals who are required to renew the CPR component of their First Aid accreditation every 12 months. The content covered in this course:

  • Chain of survival
  • Assessing the situation
  • Signs of life
  • Performing CPR
  • Discussion, use of automated external defibrillator
  • Care of the unconscious person
  • Special techniques for children & infants
  • CPR in special circumstances
  • Infection control
  • Reporting procedures

Upon the successful completion of this course participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit HLTCPR201A Perform CPR.
