TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is one of two qualifications from the TAA04 Training and Assessment Training Package.

Overview of the TAA40104

The TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is aimed at people whose primary job role is that of a workplace trainer and/or assessor. The qualification prepares trainers/assessors to work effectively in any environment and focuses on training/assessing in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

TAA40104 is a broad qualification that addresses performance of the following tasks in a VET context:

  • Designing learning programs
  • Delivering learning in a variety of contexts
  • Planning, developing, conducting, and validating assessments.

 

TAA40104: competency requirements

To obtain the TAA40104, students must demonstrate competence in a total of 14 units of competency: 12 core units + 2 elective units.
